Holly was a swimmer and water polo player who has been teaching and coaching for nine (9) years for high schools, summer rec teams (Bishop Estates, Gehringer and Walnut Heights), as well as the world-class Terrapins and Aquatic Times Swim Academy's stroke and dive/start clinics.

She interned under her parents, Gordon and Debbie, and also got some practical experience and insight with Cal's Mike Bottom and Nort Thornton and learned a great deal about coaching Olympians/world-class athletes and collegiate swimmers. So, Holly brings a great deal of knowledge to the pool deck in every aspect of coaching-- stroke technique, athlete psychology and putting a team and program together from scratch and running a successful, strategic season. She's brought Walnut Heights from seventh in their league of 8 teams to third in just three seasons!

Holly not only has coaching expetise, but she has her AA in accounting and few years practical experience in the accounting/bookkeepping field, so she's very efficient when it comes to doing a budget for a team or ATSA. She's also becoming a great photographer -- covering meets, games and other events for us. She's done a knock-out job getting our Walnut Creek facility up and running successfullyand is heading our new Winter program! Those on her team and who have attended ATSA clinics sing her praises and have benefited greatly, which is proven by their progress and continued participation.

Holly was also Berean Christian High School and Bentley High School's first swim coach, coaching them for an accumulation of 5 seasons, which has been quite a learning and growing experience for her. She is also returning to Walnut Heights Otters for her fourth year as Head Coach (2 years as assitant coach before that).

Like her parents, she is a very innovative and creative out-of-the box thinker, and has developed a number of her own swim drills, which have proven to be very effective!
